Colonel Tudor Stanica hid where we least expected; in his own home, since nobody looked for him seriously. The torturer is the beneficiary of his friendship with Florin Sandu, Police (IGP) chief, so those from IGP knew where he was, as "sincerely" they announced, only they simulated they were looking for him. Not to mention that in the moment when those from investigations started to move, Stanica received a phone call and took a break somewhere else... Waiting for the appeal which is going to make his sentence more "just"...
