Fugitive colonels Stanica si Creanga’ appeal – postponed 
by the Supreme Court (CSJ)

…Stanica and Creanga, even as they are “sought” by the police, had the possibility to hire attorneys, who represented them in front of the Supreme Court magistrates. … Immediately after the sentencing by the Buchares Appeals Court, Police was notified to execute the arrest warrant. Although they were seen going to the convict’s homes, police denied they received the Court’s papers.  Upon media pressure, police announced a general arrest warrant was issued, adding that the two are hiding together, somewhere in the country, and are waiting for the magistrates to answer their appeal of the arrest warrants..
